Feel
totally secure when carrying out your transaction through our On-Line Business Banking (Banca en Línea Comercial) Service. We provide you with an RSA SecurID® Card,
(a device that triggers a security code every 60 seconds. This six-digit
security code only functions with your Passcode and Client Number. A
transaction can only be made through On-Line Business Banking (Banca en Línea Comercial) by having
this unique, two-factor authentication
Use and Care of Your SecurID® Card
Your SecurID® authenticator is a product
of RSA Security Inc., which safeguards your organization’s valuable
resources. It is recommended that you follow the user instructions provided
by Banco General. In addition, please take the following precautions
for your own safety and that of the system:
- Never reveal your Personal Passcode. Do
not write it down
- If you believe someone has learned your Personal Passcode, call
the Customer Service Hotline of Banco General at 800-5000, and the
Bank will immediately generate a new Personal Passcode.
- Be careful of lost or stolen cards. If you misplace your SecurID®,
call the Customer Service Hotline immediately at 800-5000, and the
Bank will deactivate the card to prevent its unauthorized use. You
must request a new SecurID® Card at the Bank.
- Do not allow anyone to have access to the system using your identity
(ex: registering with your Personal Passcode and the code generated
by your SecurID® Card).
- Always follow standard system procedures to disconnect. By not following
procedures, you may create unprotected pathways to the system.
- Your SecurID® Card contains sensitive and complex information.
Its protective casing, liquid crystal display (LCD) and integrated
silicon circuits will break if forced. Protect your RSA SecurID® Card from physical damage. Do not immerse in water, expose to extreme temperatures,
place under heavy objects, or bend.
If you would like to deactivate
your RSA SecurID® Card, call our Customer Service Hotline at 800-5000 or 300-5000,
and request immediate deactivation.
